Wayne Wong is a "recovering technologist" with over 30 years of experience in IT, including senior management roles during the dot-com era. Blending his technical background with a deep commitment to small business development, he currently serves as the Maui Center Director for the Hawai'i SBDC; a role he has held for over a decade. In 2020, he was named SBA Small Business Advocate of the Year. Wayne brings unique insight into small business technology and community-based economic development, with perspectives grounded in both his technical expertise and cultural roots. He also serves on several cultural and nonprofit boards.
